Shipping policy


At Spetex, we strive to deliver your eyewear in a timely and secure manner. This Shipping Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding the shipping and delivery of orders placed on our website.


1. Shipping Within India

We offer nationwide shipping across India.

  • Delivery Time: Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 2-3 business days after order confirmation. Delivery time depends on your location and products availability:
    • Metro Cities: 3-5 business days
    • Non-Metro Cities & Rural Areas: 5-7 business days

    • If a product is not immediately available in a warehouse, the dispatch time can be longer, potentially taking 15-30 days. This can happen when a product is on backorder or needs to be sourced from Manufacturer. Factors like lead time for production or replenishment can contribute to these delays. 
  • Lens Customization: If your order includes custom prescription lenses, please allow an additional 2-7 business days for lens preparation and fitting. The total delivery time will be the sum of the lens customization time and the shipping duration based on your location.
  • Shipping Charges: We offer free shipping on all orders above ₹500. For orders below ₹500, a flat shipping fee of ₹50 will apply.


2. International Shipping

At this time, Spetex.com does not offer international shipping. We currently only deliver within India.


3. Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with the tracking details. You can track the status of your order through our website or via the link provided in the email.


4. Delayed Delivery

While we strive to deliver your orders within the estimated time frame, unforeseen circumstances (such as extreme weather, pandemics, or logistic issues) may cause delays. If your order has not arrived within the expected timeframe, please contact our customer service team at support@spetex.com, and we will assist you in tracking your shipment.


5. Incorrect Address or Failed Delivery

It is the responsibility of the customer to provide the correct shipping address. If the delivery fails due to an incorrect or incomplete address:

  • The courier will attempt to contact you for clarification.
  • If the order is returned to us due to incorrect details or non-collection, additional shipping charges may apply to resend the item.


6. Handling and Packaging

At Spetex, we take special care to ensure your eyewear is securely packaged to prevent damage during transit. Each order is carefully packed in protective materials to maintain its quality.


7. Damaged or Lost Shipments

In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged or is lost in transit:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of receiving the damaged item at support@spetex.com with your order details and photos of the damaged product.
  • We will investigate the issue and, if verified, we will either offer a replacement or refund based on the situation.


8. Cancellation and Changes

You may cancel or make changes to your order before it is dispatched. Once your order has been shipped, it cannot be canceled or modified. In case of any such requests, reach out to us at support@spetex.com as soon as possible.


9. Return to Sender

If an order is returned to us due to non-collection, incorrect address, or refusal to accept the delivery, we may contact you to arrange a re-delivery. Additional charges may apply.
